Auxílio Cidadão: An App for Financial Assistance in Brazil
Auxílio Cidadão is a free Android application developed by kodako, designed to provide temporary financial assistance to vulnerable and socially at-risk families in Ribamar, Brazil. The project aims to provide dignified support to the local population during this economic crisis. The first phase of the program will cover 4,829 families, with a total of 10,000 families expected to benefit.
The program provides a financial aid of R$360.00, divided into three installments of R$120.00, which can be used in over 50 affiliated establishments in the city. The application offers features like benefit consultation, a list of affiliated establishments, information about the aid, and news updates.
